Proudly we announce that our SPEX pilot plant unit has been commissioned in November. We already have successfully tested a first run with plastic packaging foils. Currently, we are running tests with rigid plastics (HDPE), which will be followed by complex PolyAls of beverage cartons (laminates of plastics and aluminum). These tests will be finished before the end of this year. Next year, we plan to prove that the process works on commercial feedstocks and start designing the first full commercial plant, and execute a LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) for this process. For this, we plan to produce 100-200 kilogram batches for our clients to conduct injection- and blow moulding tests.
