SPEX and Unilever: Innovating plastics recycling together
Last weekend, the collaboration between Unilever and OBBOTEC-SPEX was in the spotlight once again. This time, an article in the NRC recognised SPEX as the game changer in addressing Unilever’s plastic recycling challenge. Through our long-term partnership with Unilever, we use our advanced dissolution technology to recycle their flexible and rigid packaging waste. Our SPEX process transforms this waste into virgin-quality pallets that can be used again in Unilever’s high-end applications.
