We are proud to announce that OBBOTEC SPEX has been awarded funding through JTF Rijnmond for the project “Cross-Flow Filtration for Polyolefin Recycling and Pigment Recovery.”
With our SPEX technology, we will produce recycled plastic of virgin-like quality through the dissolution and purification of PE and PP waste streams. Thanks to this new filtration project, we will further enhance the quality of our recycled plastics, take additional steps toward high-quality circularity, and continue working on:
- virgin-like quality plastic recycling
- recovery of raw materials and pigments
- waste reduction and more efficient use of materials
At OBBOTEC SPEX, we believe that innovative recycling technology is essential to making plastic streams truly circular. With support from the Just Transition Fund, we can further develop our technology and contribute to a more sustainable plastics value chain with high-quality applications for recycled plastics.
