OBBOTEC was founded in 2018 with the aim of developing unique solutions for the reuse of bio- and plastic waste streams. OBBOTEC's technologies were previously developed by inventor and chemical engineer Obbo Hazewinkel, who worked in the petrochemical industry. With his insights, plastics from waste streams can now be recycled in high quality or a (partly green) fuel can be produced. OBBOTEC is the owner and nursery of these technologies and has developed them into operational applications.

With a fast-growing operational team, SPEX works daily to develop and further scale up our innovative solution. Every team member plays a crucial role in success.
